This image was done for ImagineFX to celebrate Frazetta’s 80th birtday.

I decided to paint a classical fantasy art piece like the ones we are used to see from Mr. Frazetta, I just did it in my style as I just didn’t dare to copy the masters style. A strong hero with some massive axes in his hands, in the background I used some elements Frazetta already used in his art like the birds. I painted a Portrait of Mr. Frazetta in the background to honor him and to show that he is the one who made this picture possible cause without him I probably wouldn’t paint anything today.
I just hope I got a little likeness with the Portrait of Frazetta in the background as I just had a very small picture (taken in the 80’s right after his “come back”) from his website as reference.
