Description
This time not an axe wielding hero, just an old man telling a story to his best friend. I don’t know what the old man has to say, maybe he tells a story about their past as they were young and strong, fought together and won several wars. Now grown old realizing that fighting and winning wars didn’t make him feel any better, he’s tired of fighting and he thanks god that he’s still together with his best friend, his trusty horse…Medium: Digital/Painter (Painters Oils and Watercolors)

Overall opinion/feedback:Ok, so perhaps you didn't do an overpaint then. The face and the helmet ARE well painted, and the horse too, but the guy's shirt is still bothering me. :/

To Jane, no it is not a paintover or anything like that, and I’m sorry to say, but the face isn’t much more detailed as the rest of the piece it just looks that way in the downsized version for posting on the internet. I linked a little “How I did it” above, so you can have a look at a bigger size of the face. Another thing is, this is definitely the first and the last time I ever post something like a “how I did it” cause I don’t think I have to explain or excuse to anyone how I draw and paint in a public gallery! If anyone is interested in how I work I am always willing to answer e-mails and tell people how I did this or that.
So Jane if I ever do a paintover or something like that, be sure you are the first person who will know about it.
Thanks.
